Okay, past few days all I've been doing is blowing my money, this has resulted in a 20inch LCD monitor, also some nice DVD's and my current fav, Batman Begins, I am also back to reading Terry Pratchett, I've been reading the books that feature the City Watch as I enjoy those books the best, mainly because you get a good few books featuring the same charactors and you get to see how the charactor grows and rather than the charactor either never featuring again, or only one or two times, you get one that you can follow and enjoy reading their adventures. It's kind of the same with the Witches, some of the books that feature the Wizards (especially Rincewind) and also the books with Death in them.
Charactors do cross books however, so, although you can pick up any book and read it, to get the most you have to have read them all upto that point, but you are able to read any book out of sequence, although there are a few 'in jokes' that can be picked up through reading the relitive books which feature the particular charactor, or some which just apear in other Discworld books.
Odd that I can talk so much about a series of books, but I enjoy them alot.
so apart from buying books, DVD's and CD's I've done a whole load of nothing, apart from work. Or rather, in my mind I've done a whole load of nothing, or atleast not anything that requires specific mentioning.
