Today my DVD/CD drive came for my computer, so I promptly fitted it and tested it out with the first DVD to hand, it just happend to be Placebo Live in Paris 2003, great to listen to, beautiful to watch, I haven't watched it in a while and had forgotten how much I love it, well, nothing like a quick reminder to get you chasing music

They were one of my first "favourite" bands.
They were one of the first bands I saw live.
But I grew out of them, as you do with some music.

I listened to Without you I'm Nothing again the other day. I started to remember why I loved them so much in the first place.

I like it when that happens.

yeah, I've seen them live twice now, I must say I like the newer stuff best, and although that album is great there is no songs there that stand out and grab you, which is why I prefer Black Market to that album (Taste In Men, Black Eyed, Peeping Tom and Slave To the Wage come to mind) and Sleeping with Ghosts which has fewer tracks that I'm likely to skip but is also great live.
