I saved a turtle yesterday. It was trying to cross the street the long way. It was a good sized turtle, so I was able to see it well before it was too late for me to swerve. But there was no way it was ever going to make it on such a busy road. So I pulled over and went back to help out. When I got to it, there was some lady speeding up insanely fast. I wasn't sure she had seen the turtle and I thought I was about to be splattered with turtle goo. But she drove right over the top of him, whether see saw it or not. So I helped it to the other side of the road and my good deed had been done for the day.

The irony of it all was that I was wearing my super awesome Ninja Turtle tee shirt, courtesy of shirt.woot.com
