I haven't done Blog Homework for quite some time due to an insane work schedule, and two side hustles. Issues with my health, and an assortment of crap that was beyond my control during the course of the previous calendar year.
As far as resolutions going forward...
Last year, more like a goal, not a resolution I was in terrible credit card debt. The one goal I had was to pay them both off before. 2019 ended. I managed to accomplish this. It was difficult and a lot of hard work, but I managed to do it. That being said, this is where I begin my very first resolution for 2020.
1) I do owe quite a bit of money on my Credit Line. I'm not going to discuss the details since I got myself in this mess, I'm responsible for putting myself out of it. I want to try to pay down at least a tenth to a fifth of my debt down by the end of the year.
2) Invest in silver and learn some more about cryptocurrency. Before things collapsed for me about ten years ago, I was sitting on 200 ounces of silver. I had to sell it off when I lost a great job. At this moment I have about a tenth off what I had ten years ago. I would like to get another 10 to 20 ounces added to my collection. As for Cryptocurrency, at this moment I'm listening to podcast shows on the subject and I don't have anything invested in it. I'm just looking for information before I make an informed decision if I want to invest in it.
3) Travel some more. I want to make a visit to the AGO(Art Gallery of Ontario) to check out the Infinity Room https://www.blogto.com/videos/yayoi-kusamas-lets-survive-forever-is-torontos-permanent-infinity-mirror-room/ I'm trying to make a point of checking out things that are of interest in my travels and stumblings. I have a friend that invited me to his hometown to check out some sites and food.
4) Enter and win the iPhone Photography Awards. I tried this last year in for the 2019 competition and I didn't make the cut. During the process, I never had to compete in something so difficult in my life. I feel I have come to some ways in my cell phone photography. To the point where I'm selling my work on Redbubble https://www.redbubble.com/people/mreleganza?asc=u and Society6 https://society6.com/mr_eleganza
5) Set a new personal best in photography sells. I get that photography is an oversaturated market, and I'm in no position to quit my day job. Last year I sold about $130 with both sites combined. The previous year $35. So, for now, my bar is very low. I'm just in it for the long game and the process of my development and evolution of something I enjoy.
6) My health was terrible during July and August of last year. I had plans for travel for during the summer, but it got derailed because of heatstroke in July, and vertigo in August. I want to fix that, this past summer in my slice of Canada was quite difficult to deal with climate change making things more dangerous.
7) Go to more concerts. I don't do this as much as I would like. Last year, I got to see some Combichrist and Green Jello as my highlights. I would like to see some more about this new year.
I think this about it. Anything else that happens, I'll try to hit it head-on. If you have any advice for this Canadian, feel free to offer. People only learn if they actually listen,
