So, not long ago. I found out from my co-workers, that one of them likes me. Although I'm quite flattered by this but also it complicates things. We both work in a department store in the same area. When I found out from my co-workers about this, they were wondering if I will ask her out. I have communicated with her with private inbox messages through Instagram which is fine. I know the last time I worked with her I noticed from her body language that she does. I won't lie, I tend to be pretty clueless about stuff like this. Even if I got smacked across the face with a two by four as a means of flirting, I probably wouldn't notice it even if I was picking up my teeth from the ground. Not that I would endorse using two by fours for flirting. I have to say she has kind of grown on me and I'm kind of developed feelings for. If something does happen, I know from experience with my friends that have had work/date relationships a good number of them crashed and burned. I'm also reminded what my boyhood idol said, "You Miss 100% Of The Shots You Never Take" (Wayne Gretzky).
Then earlier today there was a song I was listening to on a podcast show I listen to on my iTunes account that was being played https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCwxqbaiyWI It's a cover from Within Temptation - Sinéad (VNV Nation Remix) if you do watch the video just ignore the violent imagery in the video and listen to the lyrics. She is quite busy with school and I want her to be successful with her scholastic endeavors. But I have a feeling I will ask her out. I won't lie, I have done this through Instagram, but I figure I will ask her out on a date next time I work with her. I don't know if it will work or not. I'm just reminded by the quote that I posted from Wayne Gretzky.
If anyone has any thoughts, please feel free to comment. I would like some dialog on the matter.
