I had my first run in with a beaver the other day. A real live honest to goodness beaver with teeth and a flat tail. Scared the hell out of me. More like it startled the hell out of me. You don't expect to come face to face with a beaver inside city limits. I didn't even know beavers lived in the west, I was in Reno, Nevada at the time. I know animals have their place but I prefer them in zoos and meat coolers at the market. Didn't someone once say 'nature is what you have to pass through to get to your car"? I don't do nature. I don't go in water either unless it's a pool or bath tub, fish fuck in it. That ain't pretty.
I'm just rambling on, had some friends over for dinner and wine, they just left and I'm killing time before going to bed.

thanks for the congrats- though i won't see the Hassie until the end of the summer (paperwork and red tape) it might as well be in my hands right now as far as I'm concerned because I'm so excited!!
