Queensland Flood
I'm sure most of you would know by now of the massive flood that has ravaged queensland this week.
Completely stuffed right now,spent from 11pm till 4:30 this morning helping with sand bagging. Awesome feeling seeing so many people working together. From out of no where this little old lady went and bought some maccas for everyone in the compound, others brought sausages and bread, bakens beans on toast and so on.
Went along the river down bulimba/colmslie area last night and to see how much the water has literally risen is quite scary. Watched a boat float down the river at different points, listtening to the current of the river sent shivers down my spine. Standing in a completely quiet area and all you could hear is the water, just intense.
