Well i'm not one to blog about my life, but always up for new things.
Done a complete makeover in past week. Gone from looking like a neanderthal to looking like a respectable person of society.
Had been growing my wolverine chops for a year now and also my tail/mullet for bit longer than that. Was getting to a point that I was sick of having to groom the chops and hair every day and thought, what can I do to fix this. BINGO!! I would participate in world's greatest shave for cure.
For those who may not be aware of this fundraiser, it's an annual event organised by the Leukaemia Foundation to raise money for those affected (directly or indirectly) by Leukaemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma and other related blood disorders.
So with that, here is the before and after shock.
Deciding to keep this look for sometime, easier to maintain. Have to get use to it anyways, since my two career jobs will entail a similar appearance.
Over the years i've gone from job to job, meeting great people, forming good friendships and losing some. But i've always wanted a job I was proud of having and not feel ashamed to say this is what I do for a living. I applied for Army reserves last year but was told I was .5% over required BMI and had to lose 2kg(crock of shit), anyways... I didn't do anything about it until couple weeks back, realising the job i'm in right isn't for me anymore(machine operator making mayonnaise).
I reactivated my application for Australian Defense Forces, choosing not to do army anymore but Air force(RAAF). Have to wait till next week when my case manager calls me back and arranges and an assessment meeting. I'm trying to get this to move as quickly as possible, because I need to leave brisbane ASAP. Time for a holiday and grueling training in the ADF will do me good and straighten my head up.
But once I finish that training, I need to organise my training to being to join the Police, something i've wanted to do for many years and now is the perfect time. These two jobs I'll do for rest of my life. Good people, great job, great skills and an awesome lifestyle.
