Muse
Isn't life a little bit funny?
These days we let slide by
People hide behind the masks
The way we were taught to live
If I could sculpt the world
I would shape it differently
If I were an alchemist
I would make love potions
Left to be a travellin man
The best I can do isn't much
My gift to you, written word
You tell it to everybody
I wish for something simple
People to be wonderful
and leave it be done
with unconditional love
Dreams of rooftop pools
Sitting and Imaging
Sun beating down
Drinks on hand
If you think I have forgotten,
I hope you know it isn't true.
It is a wonderous world
To live here with you.
How wonderful you are
My literary muse.
A harvest of compassion,
Let not another day waste.
