"why did you decide to join the navy?"
i had nothing better to do with my life. i've always been interested in the ocean. mathematics was the only thing i was ever really consistant with in school. all of the men in my family have been in the military, most of them in the navy. i needed work, but it's becoming extremely difficult to find employment wherever i've lived. i wanted to travel and see the world. i want enough experience and know-how to survive. my friends and i have always had odd aspirations of one day moving to alaska and becoming crab fishermen; i might as well have the naval training for that. i want discipline. i want to get into shape. i want respect. and, just in case, i've always wanted to die at sea.
how's that for an answer?
i've been getting some ideas lately, none that i'm really secure with sharing. just felt like mentioning that. one hint: i've been watching a lot of zombie movies today.
there's nothing else really going on with me.
