Tomorrow is the big day. I am going to a place called Glenn Innes. It is in the New England part of NSW. Our property is on 120 acres of rain forest, cliffs, giant granite bolders and green grassy fields at the very top of a mountain called Mitchell (Actually about 50 metres down on the western side). If you have seen the forest in Lord of the rings that is what this place predominately looks like. The house is 56 squares and overlooks a small lake. It is always cold there due to the elevation and often you are in cloud in the mornings. Though at night the stars are so clear it is amazing. No major city for six hours.
Anyway, I am going down there to see if I can live happily in the country after so long in the city. I also need to check out employment possibilities?
I would like to turn the whole thing into an artists collony with a studio for musicians to come and record their albums eventually? If It doesn't work out I am looking at getting back into publishing in Sydney or Melbourne. But I am looking forward to the change in lifestyles.

From memory Glenn Innes town is full of Scottish prodies and hence pretty stale. Still true? Even the pubs were curiously lifeless, but that may be a seasonal thing.
