I've decided to change. I've been grouchy, tired, negative, smart-assy and depressed...mainly because my job is kicking my ass right now. I have a ton of work to do and I'm traveling quite a bit. My best friend at the moment is "Frank" the airport parking shuttle guy (he is genuinely cool though).

I've decided to seek out positive things when they are not evident and dedicate time to something fun everyday (even if only for a brief moment). My first test presented itself when I had to take a trip to Buhl, Idaho recently...didn't want to go...didn't have time...and Buhl sounded supremely boring and cold.

I arrived and disovered that Buhl is 35 miles from the Nevada State Line which means...casinos! My first night I drove to Nevada and played craps for three hours...was up and down..ultimately down a little...but had a great time.

The next day I had work stuff...then had five hours to kill before my flight back home. I took the long way back to Boise and checked some backroads and scenic spots. It was relaxing and pretty cool. Most people don't have waterfalls in their office.
