One of my beers won a gold medal at the state competition! It's pretty cool since it was my first competition. I guess this should inspire me to keep brewing.

I've been brewing a lot. There is a competition coming up in February that I plan on entering a lot of beer into. I don't really care if I win, but it will be fun to compete/get feedback from the style nazis on my brewing ability.

I think the situation with the girl may have been decided last night. Unfortunately I think she likes my insane roommate and not me. Damn the man. Yesterday was all around a bad day.
