Well it's been another action packed week for us London freaks.
We went to an exhibtion opening for graffit artist Xenz who put together a selection of very dark and moody cityscapes reminiscent of Judge Dredd's Megacity1 or Bladerunner. The show was organised by the folks at Pimp guides who I can certainly reccomend for organising a good free piss up, amongst other things. They rounded up 4 different drinks sponsors for the night and so had a pretty respectable free bar rather than the usual glass of wine promo one finds at art openings. I'm pleased to say they'll be working with me in future so watch out for the excellent and free Pimp magazine in record shops etc, and book out in shops soon including a selection of my paintings
Then last night there was a fantastic Siren Suite party at The Glasshouse, kaleidoscopic home of artist Andrew Logan. Surrounded by spectacular mirror shard encrused statues we were treated to some amazing performances of Indian classical music, whilst boozing the night away with the cream of the London art/fashion freak crowd
In other news Manko and I will be in Brighton on monday 13th June, so if any of you locals fancy a party come and join us.
The occasion is the launch of the new issue of APE Illustrated magazine, venue: The Sussex Arts club on Ship St.
1 will gain you entry, a copy of the magazine and a programme of performances by various artists, poets and bands including girlband "Tits of death". I'll be Djing my eclectic set of Japanese goth & pop, mixed up with the latest London electro-trash sounds. come and say hello if you get the chance.
