Went out for the little brother's birthday saturday night. drank. (rare occurence, that). most importantly, got to see doug stanhope live for the first time. if you're unfamiliar with his work, i highly recommend it. "standup comedy" is only the best way to categorize what he does. political commentary, base philosophy, all combined with the foulest anecdotes i've ever heard. he reminds me of bill hicks, in that i feel their work transcends the medium of standup. nothing like having your eyes opened while hurting yourself laughing
