Yay!
Passed my finals,yall! Time to chill. I went and got the girls and I tickets for the circus on saturday.
I did a spoken word piece for my final that hit me so hard when I read it/performed it,that I had to walk out of class to compose myself.
Maria,a classmate even came up to me afterwards and wanted to talk about my emotions.I told her that when you've had true love in your life,the absence of it leaves you shaking like an addict going through withdrawal........
I think the part about Her love being the incense in my temple and spirit being the offering on my altar that choked me up. It's one thing to write it but a whole different thing to say it and in front of a room of "strangers"!
