i just figured out who i am...im duckie from pretty in pink. i just watched it for the gazillionth time, and had that startling revelation. i have never been a blane, always a duckie. why the fuck cant i be a blane just once in my life? why do i have to always be the thoughtful, caring, reluctant and understandinng friend??? god damn i hate myself right now......damn that john hughes!
