Well the beast lasted another day.
Funny notes. There are several wire in the engine area that go to nothing right now. Half of them I have no idea where or what they go to.
The vacume tube that goes to the storage area was blocked with a FUSE and disconnected. Why? No idea. Fixed that and I do not think there is a vacume leak or I would not have been able to drive like I did today.
Got a set of 3 gauges. Since the Jeep only came with Idiot lights I put them in and connected the oil pressure one first (it being the hardest since if done wrong will leak oil all over the place). Got it done no problem. Went to do the Ammeter. No wire was included in the kit for that and the wire I had laying around seemed a little too small so I figured that could wait. Now to the temp gauge. Well there was no place to plug it in without disconnecting a vital sensor, so reading the instructions it said ti get an "Optional T fitting".
Here is the funny part.
Kragen where I got the thing didn't have the book to look up the thing. So they called 4 other stores. They where also missing there books. Odd but there was once a book and now no one has it.
It gets better. So the poor fella trying to find this thing for me is breaking his ass trying to help all the people that where filtering in while still helping me out. My Grandpa called me like 3 times telling me to hurry up because he was leaving soon and couldn't seem to understand that I couldn't possibly go any faster since I lacked the component I needed.
They guy reads all his books and goes page by page trying to find anything even some what like it. No dice. We check like 3 other gauge sets all of them are like mine and all say to do the same thing.
All the tech support lines are shut down of course so now we have to wait till monday to possibly find the part or I have to get it custom built which would be silly because it is an optional part for that kit so that means the manufacturer should make it and sell it.
Oh well....at least it runs.

No, unfortunately we had so much to do that by the time the night rolled around all we wanted to do was sleep. Plus it was a morning wedding, so a hangover wouldn't have gone over really well. But it was fun anyway.
