My best friend Jerry passed away last Friday. He was 30 years old. We were bestest buds for the past 16 years. I remember our first conversation was about if Mario, instead of getting bigger after a mushroom, he went on a drug trip.
A short time after that we began to hang out after school. One day he brought over Cannibal! The Musical. After it was over, we had a life long friendship. We were as close as brothers. We never introduced ourselves as friends, it was brothers.
He was gifted in music, he was able to play almost any instrument. He had ideas for games, movies, music and many other things for days. We worked well together. He introduced me to my favorite band They Might Be Giants. He was a truly funny person and never failed to make me laugh and I loved to make him laugh.
With out him I would have never met my other Best Friend. At least we can remember our brother forever.
I'll miss him and love him for the rest of my life. I just hope I can make him proud.
