I've been a fan of "Weird Al" since I was just a lad. I remember back when I picked up a cd from the living room and deciding I wanted to listen to it while I played Super Mario Bros. I thought I had picked up the Michael Jackson "Bad" album. But when the first song played I knew it wasn't the correct cd. It was even better or "Even Worse"...if you will.
Since that day, I was hooked.
Every time a new album is out, I'm there to get it. The only bad thing is, I've never seen him in concert. Perhaps his next tour. Fur sure.
Anyway, "Mandatory Fun" is a great album. But I'm seeing a lot of people posting his videos and talking about a few of the songs. Now, don't get me wrong, this is great. But, it's now being posted and commented on by people who made fun of me for listening to him all these years. I don't get it. This is actually the first album that I've not heard all the original songs he's doing a parody of. Oh well, It's still great.
