At home today, so no work cough, cough.
What's new?
This is a nerve wracking time for me. I don't know how long
I'll remain in SF. I do love it, but when my contract is up with my shit job, anything and everything will be up for grabs. I've looked into some jobs in L.A. with some pretty big names(WB, 20th Century Fox, NBC), so that I can live closer to my gf in San Diego. There's a sweet gig in Chicago, but I don't want to be land locked like I was when I was in college at Michigan. Argh, when you get older and start thinking about the future, it weighs pretty fucking heavy on the mind.
My lease is up and I'm month to month now. Maybe I'll find a new place to live. Any recommendations?
Anyways, I would love meet those of you who live out here in the Bay Area sometimes. If you're interested, let me know.
Wishing you all the best.

Berkeley Hills are the shit. Could be pricey, but you could get lucky and find a guest house for cheap. Same thing for North Berkeley.
Rockridge would probably be my favorite and most recommended. BART is right there, lots of bars, grocery stores, cafes etc. Berkeley very close, and Oakland is very close. People are cool around there as well.
Lake Merritt is cool too. I lived two bl0cks from there for about 5-6 years. That could be pricey there too. There are lots of apartments around there. Chinatown is very close as well as Alameda. Freeways are accesible also.
Emeryville would also be cool. Fairly industrial, close to the water, (Bay Bridge), it is just at the west end of Berkeley. I don't think there is a whole lot of housing here. Like I said, fairly industrial. Lofts more than likeley.
So, I would stick with Berkeley on the whole, Rockridge, Lake Merritt areas. If you need me to expand on any particular area just shoot me a line and I'll tell ya what I know.
Peace.
