Alright, after the second bleaching, my hair looked LOADS better than after the first. My roots are terrible, and I couldn't pull my hair back today because there were chunks underneath that had missed the bleach.. So, here is the final result. My hair is naturally curly underneath, but it looks even more so all around my head because it's still wet:
No, that is not a bald spot on the back of my head.. My hair just got wierd. Right now, the green hair dye is in the hair. We ran out just as we were finishing, and we did not 'saturate' my hair, so I'm hoping it turns out well anyway. Today, I asked a friend if she knew how to dye hair. She said she does hers all the time (not from what I've seen, but okay..). She informed me she usually can do her whole head, by herself. Talented, I guess. I asked her, if I didn't have to work today (if it's snowing, no work), if she could come over when she got out of school, I'd have everything ready, if she could help me do my hair. She nodded, and agreed. "Sure!"
It was snowing by 9 am. The time rolls around (2:30 pm), and she's not online (I've been waiting for hours already, and was quite eager by this time). So I wait, and wait. People call her phone for me, and she doesn't answer. Why? Because she's out with her boyfriend, and doesn't answer her phone when one of us (friends) calls because she doesn't want to be interrupted. So, this is about an hour and a half later. I know all of that, and yet, she hasn't contacted me in any way to let me know she's not coming. So, I was ditched for a boyfriend she sees every fucking day, and I'm not the only one she does it to. It's a friends vs. boyfriend thing to her, and the boyfriend love is more important. Thing is, is we never hang out, and yet she's concerned about how sad I've been lately and wants to help me feel happy.
Thanks for all your help.
So, that's why I have few friends. I was starting to forget. Must go find new ones. Anyway, my mother was willing to put up with my bullshit again for a few hours tonight. We started out okay, confident we'd have enough! Maybe even extra! After about fifteen minutes, we're bitching, ready to strangle eachother. As we're halfway done, she mentions how she'd still like to take the train to Chicago with me some weekend (remember that five day weekend I had in january? We sort of considered it for then, but..didn't get anywhere with it). Maybe in the summer for a day. To which I replied 'one day? No, maybe three or four, atleast!' By the end of our time, I was telling her of our encounter with an Irish gentleman ( ) on the train, who told us stories of his past, the histories of the world, and of our moonlit walks in Paris down the old streets and past the Eiffel tower, and along the rivers. We sat and listened to him talk, and he swept us off our feet with his dashing words and captivated our hearts with his imagery. We wanted to return with him to Europe, but alas, could not. So he took pity on us, and gave us enough money to stay a few days in Chicago to enjoy ourselves as we saw fit, and a train ride back.
She called me delusional because I made up that entire, elaborate story, and managed to talk for a good hour. That story really didn't happen, incase I confused anyone. It was done on a whim, I made it up (since when do Irish men talk of Paris? And no, I don't really have an urge to go to Paris, either.) My mother says I'm special. I..am really just delusional. It makes things easier to live in a constant dream world.
So, this is what it looked like as we waited..
Then, after it's been washed and combed through:
And the final blow-dried product of my semi-permanent spring green hair dye!:
So, it's all over with, and I'm happy. One side actually turned out better, but I'm not caring.. I'm excited. Oh, yes, I am. Look at all the fungi growing out of my head.
I am going to the UWM campus tomorrow to spend a few hours in the library in the morning, then wandering about for the afternoon til 1:45. I took off work for the entire day, and I didn't have to work today, because, well, duh, it snowed. It's supposed to lightly flurry all weekend.. Maybe I'll have the entire thing off.. I can only hope!
I love my hair!

Paris is cool actually, you should hook up with a real Irishman and both go there.
how has the reaction been to your hair?
