I spent the first two semesters at Art School experimenting with several different media and techniques.
But soon I realized that my own body could be a perfect subject to focus my art in.
Maybe it started with an invitation to pose for a fetish shoot to be featured in an exhibition. It gave me the heads up to the fact that it was very pleasant to be in front of the lenses and also opened the doors to an entire universe that was completely new to me. The world of fetish photography soon seduced me.

I started to pose on a regular basis for this friend that introduced me to fetish shoots. It became more and more evident that photography was the logical next step in my art studies.

Soon I started to portray my body in self portraits. At first encased in transparent fabric. During a semester I made these encasement shoots. Not only I enjoyed the results, but also the process was very pleasant. I was really fond of the soft touch of the fabric pressed against the skin. Despite of that I no longer shoot encasement and have been doing conceptual, abstract and nude photography for quite a while now.

Last year, I moved to Uruguay to a new step in my art student journey.
Shooting on film and learning ligthroom techniques improved my photographic skills and I started to feel confident behind the cameras, just as much as I feel confident modeling to other photographers.
Now I'm back in Brazil and just about to graduate as a visual artist. Leaving the university frightens me a bit. It's a whole life to be left behind while a new life starts to be unveiled before my eyes. Becoming a Suicide Girl is part of my efforts to keep doing what I like and having just as much fun as I had in this for years in university. After all, that's what life is about isn't? Keep moving and having fun!
