I've been working 3rd, swing, and flip flopping shifts for almost six years now.. insomniac forever.. and the only way I can reset is by staying up for 24hrs+ to fall flat on my face at set time along with 24hrs+ to recover. A full schedule change takes me about 2 weeks of forcibly repeated cycles. I fall apart pretty quick if I don't manage it. The Good News is.. myth busted : you can actually make up for lost sleep.. as far as health is concerned. So I say sleep as much as you can.. anytime you can. anywhere you can.. xox
