Hi guys!
Two new exciting body modifications!!!
1) I had my tonsils removed! Ack! While the surgery itself was not that bad or long (only 45 mins) the recovery has been so much worse than I expected!
I had my surgery on April 13th, and I still cannot really speak. Also, I found it so painful to eat, and even drink, that I became dehydrated and had to spend 4 hours in the Emergency Room on Friday getting fluids pumped back into my body.
So I have been lounging around, sweating out all my vicodin in this Los Angeles heat wave. It is no fun. Also, due to my lack of being able to eat every time I take my pain medications I am overwhelmed with nausea, and spent a good portion of last nite vomiting.
I'm hoping to feel better by Wednesday so I can get back to work! *yikes* I'll keep you posted.
Also my second and much more exciting body modification
2) I got my new Tattoo!!
This experience was fabulous! I took your recommendations and went to see Mrs_Misha at Zulu Tattoo.
I love her! She is not only an amazing tattoo artist, but a great conversationalist, and a sweetheart! I took the two pictures of Poppies I had posted on one of my previous blogs, and she created the perfect poppy flowers for my side!
My friend Emily came with me for big day (April 8th), and it was not that bad. Everyone told me how painful getting your side tattooed can be, but I really didn't have any problems. *yay* and it turned out awesome! I love it!
So I'm very excited to do a new set with my new tattoo *yay*
But for now, I would just love to feel better, and be able to talk, and o yeah... maybe eat.
