So I have a full day off work today so I came to visit my Mom. She has a Spanish exchange student coming soon so I helped her move some stuff out of one of her spare rooms. Later I've got a soccer practice with the Under 11 team then band practice, but it's so friggin hot it's hard to get motivated to do much of anything.

I got more ink added to my leg piece. It looks friggin amazing! I'll post more pictures when it's all done. It's my new favourite thing in the world!

You know when you go through strange periods in your life and you've got your ipod playing on random then bang! a song slaps you in your face and puts everything in perspective. That happened last week and I've simply fallen in love with this song. It's very simple and it's by a band that I don't listen to that often. But I downloaded this song randomly a few months back and somehow haven't heard it until recently.

Anyway it's by Switchfoot and Jars of Clay... yeah yeah, make fun of me all you want, whatever it's a great song

And I just got a call, just now... yes this moment that there is no longer soccer practice due to the oncoming storm!! dun dun dun. it's so hot, humid and hazy out and now here comes the rain. Today is turning out to be pretty awesome!
