So my Little Ninja turned 3 on the 11th of April. Due to how her bday fell, and the Easter holiday, I went like 27 days without seeing her, and had to wait until tis past weekend to celebrate her turning another year older. It sucked to have to wait, but we had so much fun. Watching her grow up and learn has been so amazing. I missed out on a lot with my son's life, and have tried to not make that same mistake with my little girl's. She spent the weekend totally soaking up being a Birthday Princess.....
Her one big ting she wanted to do was to go to Chuck E Cheese. I have no idea why, because I quickly found out that the employee suited up like the man Chuck E. himself is like kryptonite to Little Ninja's. She was scared totally shitless of this suit, which is strange because she rarely shows fear of anything. It was a fun trip with her though, and after some pizza, she chilled out and hit the game room on a mission...
That night it was a dinner made at her request of "Meat Cakes," which is actually just smoked ribs, and baked potatoes, and of course cake and ice cream.
So another year passed, and I'm kinda wondering where it went. She is growing up WAY too fast.
Life is busy. I just got back from a trip to Tulsa, OK which the partying can only be described as Rock Star status. I saw my younger brother, who I hadn't seen in like 4 or 5 years (which is weird because we are very close), and a ton of old friends thanks to Facebook. I think I'm headed back in a month or so. I have sold my dirt bike, which I already regret and am looking for another one as we speak. The good news is CO weather is warming up and its time to tune the mtn bikes up and get out and hit the freeride trails.
I hope you are all well in SG land... I'll update more when I have more news.
