My poor kitteh. Hagashi's fine--woke me up this morning by jumping on my back and kneading her claws on my neck. After I got done on my bike yesterday, we chased each other up and down the steps for a while. She was so good when I was trying to get the thread out--she kept spreading her paws and clawing at the air (and sometimes me), but for the most part, she sat still and let me help her. I was really worried, I thought maybe some of the thread had gone down the wrong tube and she couldn't breath or something. I really don't want to go through that again. Hopefully, she's learned her lesson about eating things that aren't food. I spent a few hours afterwards searching the house for things she shouldn't eat and making sure they were out of reach.

In retrospect, yes. Sigh.

Fuck! Animals eating string is the worst. Domestic pets love to do that shit. One of my pets used to steal dental floss from the trash. My dog, Louis, is constantly trying to make us spend thousands of dollars on surgery because he's constantly trying to rip things apart to get the thread. *sigh* Glad your little one is okay.
