Dante,

You were my best friend, for these past 11 years.
My sanity,
my happiness,
my joy,
my peace.
The love you had was endless, unconditional and far outweighed your frame.
You were more than I deserved in a friend.
I send you now to a better place, where there's no more pain, only fields to run in, and rabbits to play with, peanut butter treats and oranges and angels to lay in the sun with.
This is going to be a much harder road and lonelier life with out you.
All the pain I feel right now I wouldn't trade, for that would mean never having known you,
never had your hugs
your ear licks
your bright eyes a tail wags.
never felt the love I felt that I didn't know I could feel.
I miss you to my very core.
