My new job is wearing me out.
I started at Restaurant.com exactly 2 weeks ago.
Week 1, I was in Chicago in training where I woke up at 5am everyday, started class at 8am, and ended my day studying as late as 2:30am.
Thursday night we celebrated training being at an end almost by drinking and swimming until 4:30.
Friday afternoon I was to fly back to Orlando at 6pm, which meant I'd be home by 10pm. That would have be awesome had it worked out. Alas, it did not
My flight was cancelled due to weather so I had to spend another in Chicago. My rescheduled flight was at 6:30 am on Saturday...so, I'd be home by 9am...Yay!!! Nope, I overslept...the only freakin day I have overslept in forever. Woke up at 6am. Made it to the airport at 6:30am...too late
I then sat in the airport waiting on stand-by for the 11:30 flight. They didn't think I was going to make it on the plane, but I DID!!! Unfortunately, there were also 29 children on the flight and due to weather, my 3 hour flight turned into a 4 hour flight.
I spent Sunday trying to prepare for my first day is sales.
Week 2, I was up at 6am, did some pre work paperwork and such, then went to work until 8pm and then did paperwork until midnight. That was pretty much my schedule all week. I worked until 2:30 -3pm Saturday and then I saw Iron Man for free and ate a delicious dinner, with a delicious beer and some delicious dessert at Eden Bar.
Today, I was lazy until around 1pm and since I have been getting my next 2 weeks of work planned out and getting organized.
In other words I've been busy and I am crazy tired.
At least I had a very successful week
, so all of the hard work paid off. And it will get easier over time.

While at dinner with my Mom the other night, she once again said how much she likes you. How cool is that?
