The weekend was a lot of fun The wedding was a wonderful blend of Wicca and Norse religion and also a good healthy dose of fun I got permission from the bride a groom to post their pics here so you could see just how neat their outfits were....
He went for the whole Pirate look and she wore a mix of Byzantine (with an added Victorian touch of the lace collar...her shoes were penny loafers in BRIGHT pink ) The wedding party wore a wide mix of everything from Chinese, 18th century gentleman, to a Irish noblewoman from the 15th century. It was neat
Afterwards My Hubby and I went to another friends Birthday BBQ where we roasted marshmallows over a fire pit and watched corny horror movies. It was a good way to spend a Saturday evening.
Sunday was, well, Sunday.... Quiet morning and then fighter practice in the afternoon. The wind was whipping around merrily and made the day rather cold. I did get a chance to go out with my Hubby and two friends on the Motorcycles...that was a good end to the weekend
This week and net should be pretty crazy since school gets out on the 18th. It is amazing just how much stuff the schools try and stuff into the last few moments....My daughter had her piano recital last night and my son will do his band concert tonight. There is a bike rodeo at their school on Friday, and then my son has his TaekwonDo rank testing Friday evening. My Mother's day present is that my family is sending me to Anchorage to have some peace and quiet...yeah, right
For a chuckle...here is Genevieve's recital...I cut off the first little bit by accident...bad Mommy....

Sounds like things are still hectic for you, keep sane
Isn't it wonderful watching your child perform, be it an instrument, acting or dancing. You get this feeling of pride and love welling up from your stomach causing, a probably, cheesy grin on your face.
Have a great time away in Anchorage and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!
Take care.
