Here I sit on a Friday night with two of my kids watching Star Trek VI while I blog nearby and enjoy a drink and the quiet evening. I am actually here alone for the weekend. My eldest son is at his Nana's house helping out and my Daughter will be gone tomorrow night. I think my middle guy will also be gone tomorrow...with the Hubby in Anchorage, that leaves just me and the dogs
I am looking forward to sleeping in and being lazy, but I also have two major sewing projects I should be working on *sigh*...no rest for the wicked I guess...but how wicked can I be alone? **hmmmm**
Had to go and check on the side of the house...there were some weird noises coming from out there....turns out there is a moose eating the dead pumpkin from holloween and bedding down in the garden bed. Can't blame the moose, at least there is some residual heat from the side of the house.
Anyway, think I'll go refresh my drink and keep alternating between watching the movie and posting here...

Heyyy neighbor-- spelled without the u. I LOVE that you are from Alaska. The only state that I can feel superior to when it comes to snow and cold and blah. (I'm from MI- right on Lake Michigan...so you know, lake effect.)

WOW, a mosse. How cool. We supposedly have them here in NH, but I think everyone is lying. Still have not seen one, or a bear for that matter. Me thinks you need to try an orchid, just like your MIL.
