SO DAMN! WHAT A LONG ASS WEEK! My Smahian was slightly ruined at the end AND I fell asleep before the witching hour! Work has been non stop and when it does I am at home dealing with my ex...I share an apartment with him and...long story. So when I'm not doing that...I'm cooking. I love to cook and it is the PERFECT time of year for it. I love to cook and I love to buy things which also makes this a great time of year for me. Now when I say shop, I don't mean I go out and buy lots of gifts for XMAS...sorry, not my holiday. And anyway for that I make gifts for those I love. The only gifts that I buy are those for my Angel Tree child. For those of you that might not know what that is, it is where you pick a name off a tree (usually made up by the Salvation Army) and on that tag is a child less fortunate with sizes on it and what they want Santa to get them for xmas. I love it. I go all out and spend as much as I can and usually more than that on the child. I buy cloths for all seasons, shoes, undergarment, a stocking with their name on it (that I paint on there with fabric paint), filled with lots of little toys...and then I but the BIGGEST BEST TOYS EVER! I make sure that the toy they ask for is what they get time 10! And I can't wait. It makes me feel so good about myself...and soon I would like to sponsor a child...and volunteer in a soup kitchen...I haven't done that in years.
So that is also what I have been doing this week...preparing for the holidays on their way. I miss all my friends and family though. They don't live anywhere near here and it makes it alittle loney here. I also miss my old job, when I was a store manager. I miss the kick ass staff I had and the good times we shared there. I had a great DM and I loved my company...I guess it is also a very sad time of year for me too.
It will be ok. It always is in the end. The more things change, the more things stay the same.
Damn, I sure can ramble on and on! Hehe!
