Always at the beginning of May, the Love-Ride Switzerland takes place at the airfield in Dübendorf, near Zurich.

It is the largest motorcycle event in Switzerland and one of the largest charity events in Europe.

Since we only have about half an hour's drive to Dübendorf, we usually take part.

This year there were over 7,000 motorcycles, around 11,000 people and over $300,000 raised for disabled people.

The swiss air force makes the airfield available and attended the event with their aerobatic team and an F/A-18 in solo display. (Sorry, the photos are not good, only had the cell phone with me and no real camera)

In addition to the flight demonstrations, there were also flying motorcycles

The great thing about these events is they are brand agnostic, without the biker crap we have here in the US.  Just a LOT of riders it looks like!

@skisby  in principle yes, it's about the good thing and not about personal preferences or about who is better or worse. Of course there is one or the other stupid saying about other brands. but it's usually the case here that it doesn't matter what you drive or who you are, what counts is the common hobby
