yet another unmotivated update. the only thing i have to type about it the band. we play a show in manteca tonight at nine-thirty. waiting is hell. we've practiced everyday this week. we have written a new song and are going to unleash it tonight. its very good. slow and melodic. a bit different from the others, but all of them sound very different to me. maybe its just because i play them. that's another thing. i really have no idea what the new song sounds like. i haven't had the chance to listen to it yet. other musicians can understand that i'm sure, but for those of you who aren't musicians i'll explain. see, i play the bass. when the guitarist came to practice with a new song written, i wrote the bass line to what he was playing and what the drummer was playing. so, when i'm playing it, all i really hear is bass and drums. everytime we ever recorded our songs, the first time i heard the recording was so strange. it was like i had never heard the song before. confused? me too.
