I'm back!
I have finally finalized my move. I bought a condo in Lodi, CA. The town is kinda kewl, but everything is new, so I'm kinda lost. (I've always been lost, but this is a more literal type of lost.) The condo works pretty well for me and the little lady. It's about 1200 square feet, two stories, has a balcony and a little back yard area. It has also opened my eyes to the fact that I'm a pack rat. While rummaging through boxes, I found little league baseball trophies, boy scout pinewood durby cars and all kinds of crap that I thought was kewl when I was six. It is twenty years later now and I think it is time to do some purging.
On Sunday, the little lady and I went to the goodwill here in town in the hopes to find a small bistro set to put on our balcony. To our dismay, they had naught a stool nor a table. To our delight they had a huge selection of records for only a dollar a piece. We aquired such titles as the Beatles, Led Zeplin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, and other super rock hits from the sixties and seventies. All in all I think we came up on a couple hundred dollars worth of records for a mere $26.00. Not too shaby if you ask me. We also ended up coming up on a couple of old Stephen King books. By old I mean an original printing of Salem's Lot and an original copy of The Shining for $2.00. Again, if I took these treasures to ebay, I would definately come up.
So there's my life in a nutshell. I may be doing a bit more blogging now that things have settled down, so keep checking in on me and I'll keep checking in on you.
