I had a friend once who said that he believed that Beavis and Butthead were the embodiment of the Zen philosophy. In their world, everything is instantly filtered into one of two categories: a) it sucks or b) it's cool. My apologies if this philosophy in no way resembles anything Zen - but I thought it was funny.
In the category of "things that are cool": this book I just bought called "my new fighting technique is unstoppable" by David Rees. So funny. Here's an interview with him.
In the category of "things that suck": I have to go to a horrible hipster bar tonight for a birthday party for a good friend of mine.
It's one of these places where the shitty house music is thumping so loud you can't hear yourself think and there are 200 patrons and 2 bartenders (both of whom are way too cool to get you a drink). If it weren't her 30th birthday, I wouldn't be going within a mile of this place. Well, I guess that's not true. It's right down the street from this really good Mexican restaurant which I love. But you get what I'm sayin'...

Thinkin' about coming to the party tomorrow. It sounds like it might be a good time (although I have never heard of your Kreskin board game...I'm intrigued). All I have are the smarty-pants requisite Trivial Pursuit and Sorry - which I bought during a wave of nostalgia and have since realized isn't nearly as fun as it was when I was six.
I'm not stalking just circulating but you totally should! We've all got a wonderful common interest. Thats what I dig about meeting SG folks.
