Been a while. Job interview for tutoring the SAT verbal section at some Korean after school program. I worked for Koreans in the past and find them to be so solitary and stand offish to Americans that it is almost a crime. Yeah, call me racist. And anyway the job sucked, and I am feeling negative about everything these days...the year is getting off to a shakey start but it was bound to happen when you are jobless and looking in the dead of winter in a shitty economy.
No go on the Korean gig, ended up getting a ticket for parking in over limit meter, they pffered to pay but did not give me money on the way out because I am sure the weren't pleased with the "surprise" SAT Verbal test they gave me - scored 600 and they wanted a 750-800 range for their teachers. Understandable, but the worst players end up being some of the greatest coaches, right. Fuck it. Don't know how I feel on it.
Another interview in NYC tomorrow (1st interview in city in 3 years - nervous) for Kaplan; same type gig. I will pry for other jobs I might be suited for.
I want Koreans to respond and defend yourself and educate me to my ignorance of what I see as your ignorance. Teach me.
