Lovely Ladies,
I settled down on Sunday afternoon to delve into my new reading material, a new novel by my all time fave, Charles de Lint. The novel is call The Mystery of Grace, and it is about Grace, a car buff and mechanic who "has a tattoo of Nuestra Seora de Altagracia on her shoulder, she's got a Ford Motor Company tattoo running down her leg, and she has grease worked so deep into her hands that it'll never wash out" Well she is shot and passes over to a place between our world and the afterlife, in the neighbourhood where all the people who die around a certain building go. But twice a year she can return to this world. The first time over, halloween, she hooks up with a guy and they fall in love, he does not at that point know that she is dead. Not qyuite sure how it ends, still reading, but not far into in, when her guy is talking to one of his friends about his new love, his friend says... " I never pegged you for a Suicide Girls type....". I must say, brought a smile to my face.
Just thought I would share!

Yeah...i'm sure gonna miss that library. ha! what a joke. i was happy to see the back of it. yay, no more wasting rare sunny english days stuck inside reading about things i don't care about.
