I had to cancel lunch with Nirbhao yesterday in order to take my cat Elsie to the vet. About a month ago she started vomiting after she ate. At first we thought it was because she was rushing to get to the food before the other three cats, and then we thought it might be the new cat food (we switched from Hairball control to Multi cat...made sense at the time...) so we switched back. The vomiting ceased for about two weeks until about 6 days ago when it started again. She'd lost a significant amount of weight and day two into the vomiting blood began to appear in the puke piles and in the litter box. Nic called the vet Friday and the earliest they could get her in was yesterday afternoon. Naturally within that 24 hour wait she did nothing.
Upon getting checked out by the vet she said her exam was even normal. Nic and I opted to get a whole bunch of tests done from CBC's to Kitty Leukemia in the amount of $180, which was honestly tons cheaper than I thought it would be. She was fine all day and all night last night until about 11pm when she threw up once. However there was no blood and it was chunky, meaning there was stuff in her tummy and that she had in fact been eating.
We'll find out tomorrow most of the test results. The weird thing is she is fine. Not lethargic or fatigued or depressed. Same old Elsie.
I don't want my kitty to die! :o(

I remember you saying before that you weren't too thrilled with your vet.
