Called the SG office and (sadly I forgot to get her name) talked to a super sweet SG who informed me they're looking into the bug/problem that was preventing me from being able to apply as a hopeful using my own account, and hopefully I'll be able to apply to be a hopeful by Monday!(: So awesome, glad to finally get an answer/solution to the problem.
