I was advised to log out of my account ad apply that way as apparently there is a "bug" of some sort with the website/my account when applying so I had to long into a different account even on my computer and apply logged off with a different username and e-mail.. I left a note and *hopefully* it's even possible - but I'm hoping my current account "MorganMclovinn" will be able to just change over from being a member to a "hopeful" account, just under that name "Dab_"
I originally didn't expect to want to apply so soon after getting my membership, but after meeting @904alvin who not only did my first tattoo but is also helping me conceptualize and is going to be shooting my debut set next month, along with talking to and getting so much positive response from other members and even other hopefuls and SG's on the site I figured I should just go for it, which is why I didn't think ahead much about my username being my actual name as a hopeful originally - I have seen cases where they allow name changes or the dropping of "_" in names or after them, so hopefully they can somehow just use this account as my hopeful account and change my name, then I can get the underscore dropped down the road. Regardless I'm so super stoked now that I've actually got an application in at least, even (internet gods forbid) if I have to start all over under a new "hopeful" account. Will try to keep posted for those that are interested.. Fingers crossed my application gets accepted!!!
