A couple days ago the "Grandfather" of nerd culture Leonard Nimoy began a voyage to Boldly go into the final frontier. While he was best known for being Spock on Star Trek, which was only for 3 seasons, he was a success in many other areas such as music, writing, directing and photography to name a few. He even served in the army and supposedly co-owned a cafe at some point (confirmation?). Basically you name it, he tried it.
Now I was aware of some of his exploits. But admittedly, I didn't know he was a photographer. In fact, he's been one for over 70 years. Starting as a young boy, it was something he considered as an alternative to his acting career. You can find many of his photos online but as a shortcut, here's a link to some.
Fun Fact: He was know for his fascination with the female form.
Nerd, artist, fascinated by females? I have a lot in common with him. So in honor, I pulled a couple photos from my archives that I feel best fit into his 1990's to 2000's style.
And then one for fun as a tribute to his Star Trek days.
