So many projects, so little time. Things at work are looking good. I've been acquiring a lot of equipment which is always exciting. Unfortunately, the equipment is used and requires a lot of my personal attention to get up and running properly. That and my being sick for a prolonged period has put a damper on my social life recently.
On a personal level, people keep phasing in and out of my life. The past week has been very strange, but definately in a good way. Something that I thought was lost forever, something really precious, may not have been lost after all. I can only hope that things continue as they are. The potential for greatness is there, as long as it isn't squandered.
When things threaten to overwhelm me, I can't help but think of The Litany Against Fear:
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
And I am no longer afraid to try, even if success seems unlikely.
