HAPPY PASSOVER!
I went to my families church for Passover Seder. This is weird to say, because I celebrated a Jewish holiday at a Christian church(my mother and sister are Christian, my father is Jewish....and it's the closest thing I have to a religion).
It was very nice(the church did a good job of going with the Jewish traditions, and leaving Jesus out of it all). It was weird because this is the first year we didn't do it as a family at my parents house. It was also weird because I showed up with our puppy Bodie. He had an allergic reaction to a nut(again)earlier in the day, and I didn't want to leave him in case there was another flare up.
This was especially interesting because of the Charoses(which contains nuts)which I had to make sure he didn't try to steal from me. He is, however, a huge fan of Matzoh. I gave him some when we were first instructed to eat it, and he just loved it. So every time we ate it(or any time I ate it during the meal)he would get a piece. I have a Jewish puppy! I'm so proud.
This was also the first time my family met Bodie, and my mother spent the night referring to him as her "Grandpuppy" which was just too adorable for words.
Overall, it was an amazing Monday. I would write more but I am in need of sleep, and it is late. Besides, I wrote more about today than I usually do, which feels good.
Hope everyone is well.
