I love my neighbors, that I don't even know. Friday night I got stuck going up the hill to my house. One of my neighbors stopped by in his truck, saying he'd go get his dads truck(more powerful for helping tow me out). He, his dad, and two random people who also were stuck helped push my car out of the ditch I was stuck in. I had to walk about half a mile to get home afterward, uphill in a foot of snow(I sound old), but it was much better than being stuck in my car.
Today one of them plowed my driveway. Not all the way, but enough for me to get my car into it. Well...the wifes car. She's going to bring a new snow shovel with her(we've lived in apartments the last few years where they handled this sort of thing, and we haven't had nearly this much snow in years. We were caught off guard to say the least.
The big problem is, I have a bad back, so I can only do so much shoveling. Because we got plowed as much as we did I should be able to get the bulk of it done without throwing it out. We'll see how that goes.
