New hair brained scheme! I'ma be a gunsmith.
Thats my new plan. Gonna try to go to a school for it. Or failing that I'll get my GED, take a machining course and I hear the military is pretty desperate for weapon techs here in town. It was even suggested to me that they may be willing to take me in and teach me everything.
It would be nice to go into it some machining knowledge anyway, and GED is on my list of priorities.
Had a bit of a date on Friday. Here's the thing about this girl. Really cute, a 'boy' as my room mate puts it, but not by my standards. At least she doesn't wear make up. But she has absolutely no emotion.
We stayed up until 6:00am watching movies, I got my arm around her, but nothing.
She quite readily went to bed with me, though she fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
I'm thinking she might be uncomfortable so I'm not trying to push too hard for anything.
I put my arm around her and she settles right back against me, even takes my hand and puts it on her chest.
Falls asleep again. If she was ever awake.
All she does is sleep and play video games, sleeps so much that she tends to forget/miss our dates.
Before I met her I might have suspected it was that she didn't want to hang out with me/had someone else to play with. But no. I genuinely think she's a lazy, sleepy robot of a girl.
I don't need someone exciting. I mean, I'm not the most exciting of people. But some expression of a desire to see me would be nice.
Guh. Think I might just stop trying again. That didn't work out last time. I was like half a year with no luck and I just ended up more frustrated and blaming myself for not trying.
I'm really sleepy.
Going camping in the Adirondacks on the 2nd. Bought a whole bunch of fun new gear for the trip, new tent, backpack, titanium folding spork, nalgene coffee press. Night vision monocular with a digital camera adapter. Ooooh issa gonna be hellafun.
Gem show was last weekend. I splurged on geodes. Mainly because I wanted some for a specific project. But the big one i bought turned out the be calcite.. Pesky pesky calcite.
You buy em as a 'cocoanut' and they crack it open right there for you. I was hoping for agate. So I bought another one, smaller, but we were pretty sure it was agate. I'm going to cut it open myself with a saw. So hopefully it'll do what I want it to.
