Got up friday morning, Grabbed me shit! Went to work! Bought a second travel bag and some more shit! Went right to the bus station from work, got on the bus! Got to toronto! Got to my sister's in toronto! Dropped off me shit! Changed into me good duds! Caught the bus to Stone's!
All I ate since 1:30 PM was a couple cookies and a small bag of beef jerky.
That was an awesome party. I wish I had a chance to meet more people before hand. Its hard to make new friends in a loud bar. But as soon as I stepped outside for a cigar, I seemed to make friends with everybody.
I managed to make off with Lotus's first name badge which I found stuck to the floor at my feet. It is now taped to my wallet along with my name tag.
I think I'ma donate some lanyards and sleeves for next Gala's name tags. Those things were falling off left and right.
I tried to head to the Drake for the after party but the bouncer seemed to stop everybody at first. We went back outside, and someone came down a little later to let people in, but by then we were a tad sleepy.
So my guest and I headed back to her place (Auryn, watch for her. She's been approved, she just needs to get her ass in gear and make a set.)
Next morning I woke up around 10:00. Headed back to my sister's. Ran into someone from the Gala on the subway. Black hair, dreads and works at a sex shop, that's all I know. She was kinda cute, but her stop was the one right after I got on so didn't have much time to chat.
Went ot the ROM with me sis. I got to see what I wanted to see. The black star of queensland. A g730ct black star sapphire. it's about the size of an egg.
That thing is freaking awesome. I suggest everybody go see it while they can. It's there until december 3rd I think.
We went back to her place and hung out with her boyfriend, ate chinese food and sampled some beers she picked up.
Got on the 1:30 bus home today and it's good to be back.
My neck is sore. There's a reason I only headbang for certain songs. it's because it's really gotta be worth the pain.
I wouldn't normally headbang to Welcome to the Jungle. But I really wanted to and they didn't have anything else!
Had I known that and known that Lycoris wouldn't be there TO PLAY WITH MY HAIR LIKE I PROMISED SHE COULD! I would have braided it.
Bah, but anyway. I'ma go make some foody and unpack.
