McFarlane dragons make me horny...
Cost me $15 each... I went to Toys R Us looking for Sarita's birthday presant. I got her a 12" tall predator action figure.
You see Sarita has a crush on Predator. She wants to suck on his mandibles good and find out what's under that skimpy armor.
When I make my purring, snarly predator sound she wants to jump my bones and usualy does so.
I too share this admiration to a degree.
I think she'll like him. I want one but I couldn't pay $40 on one figure for myself. I got three dragons for about the same price.
I might at some point though. It's a really cool figure.
I hate working at loblaws. I want to quit. I was going to put in my two weeks notice today but when I think rationaly about it. I'd be losing alot of money by not workong that one shift. That's $80 a week. i'm going to talk to my boss at the jewelry store as soon as I can. As long as I give my two weeks notice before my next shift, I'll only have to work two more.
My buddies, Kevin and Alex came over friday night. Alex brought a girl he wanted to hook me up with.
Big supprise I've met her before.
She once came in and chatted with me at the jewelry store. My boss apparently used to date her dad. I thought she was like 13. She's 18.
Short, cute, shortish hair, still a kid though, with kid issues. Though very smart. I dunno. I'll take her out. But I don't see it going very far.
I'm starting to tire of only attracting girls four years younger than me.
Saturday night Kevin wanted to do something because he thought our other friend bailed on him. We were going to see V.
Low and behold Mongo showed up after all and he saw V the night before. So we saw Lucky Number Sleven...
Wow... Boring movie. It took so long to get going, and once it did, you knew everything that was going to happen.
Ever since flight club and sixth sense, everybody and their dog thinks that throwing a bunch of wild plot twists into their movie makes it good.
It is neat when all the twists tie the rest of the movie together, if the movie's enjoyable.
Ben Kingsley and Morgan freeman were awesome. All the actors were good, nothing wrong with the acting. The skippy camera stuff seemed pointless. The set designs added.. something.. I'm not quite sure what.
Guh... It was odd, And I usualy like movies like this.
This is the first time I can remember going to see a movie and not enjoying it... I even enjoyed Dungeons and Dragons the first time through.
We went back to his place and watched Boondock Saints and had some beers. That would have made up for watching Sleven, but then we started to watch Domino.
Kevin swore it would get better but not before it got worse and I lost the will to stay awake for it.
I didn't think there was any way they could ruin a perfectly good movie about a short haired girl with guns. But they did.. Holy shit what was that?
The fact that she impresses the pro-bounty hunters by telling them she's proficient with 'Throwing stars and nunchucks' would have been forgivable if the plot didn't start to follow the DMV employee trying to get the word 'Blacktino' put into the dictionary or something lame like that. Or the all hip-hop sound track, the fact that Domino had no dignity... It was just crap. Way worse than Sleven.
Ok that's enough movie review.
Sarita's gonna try and drag Corvus_9 back from ottawa on the 15th. He's taking her to a concert for her birthday.
Oh, and another big supprise. Sarita knows Shiro_Hikaru and he lives four hours away. I think on some level it would be gratifying if I could meet new people... Not just new to me, but new to my friends too.
Guh. There's stuff I should be doing. But I'm achey and not motivated.
I need a new profile picture...

Yeah, I did know that the Kingston Centre is now gone. I used to work there a long time ago...it was weird to see all of the new buildings there when I last went by there a couple of months ago.
I moved there because of Queen's and then stayed for a while because I liked it. What brought you to K-Town?
Is what you love being a jeweller? Do you work downtown?
