April had a checkup on Monday. Her blood pressure is slightly elevated. Not dangerously, but enough that she's been sent to bed rest this week. They are going to keep a close monitor on her. She had some tests done Tuesday that we are waiting on the results. Should hear today.
I'm praying it isn't preeclampsia. It's a pregnancy induced disorder that affects both mother and baby. If it is, the baby is going to have to come early for safety reasons. We're a bit nervous about it. We don't want her coming too early.
I'm at home today. Got another prof. to fill in for me. I have to take care of my girls - April and Gabby (we are tentatively calling the baby Gabriella. Shhhh... don't tell anyone. Our families don't even know)
Friends, just pray. Thanks
*Update* Phew! It isn't preeclampsia. Doc's office just called and said they aren't sure why it's elevated. But she is going to have to stay bed ridden for the rest of this week and if she has any noticeable negative effects, we are to get her to the hospital immediately. They don't want to take any chances, nor do we. We'll see her ObGyn Monday again to see if there's been any change. I hope she is able to get it under control. I'm going to do what I can to keep her comfortable.
